Cat Electronic Technician (ET)
Caterpillar engines are present in many applications such as: mining, construction, transportation and other industries.
Learning how to perform diagnostics with the scanner (software) allows you to increase your service portfolio and revenue. Many diesel technicians have the tool, however, they do not take full advantage of it. This is mainly due to a lack of knowledge of the special functions of the Caterpillar ET program.
Duration: 36 hours (7 days)
- 20 hours online (4 hours per day for 5 days with an intermediate break of 1 or 2 hours)
- 8 or 16 hours in the field with the equipment (tractor, front loader, suction pump, generator, among others).
- Maximum number of participants in the field with the equipment: 12 students for 8 hours.

- Consultation in the software for diagrams and information.
It is also important to note that Caterpillar engines have special procedures that must be followed in detail to troubleshoot major failures.

Day 1: Introduction to Caterpillar electronic engines
Day 2: Caterpillar fuel systems
Day 3: Sensors, actuators, wiring, electronic engine control module
Day 4: Fault code interpretation using the SIS WEB
Day 5: Using the Caterpillar ET and Com adapter III
Day 6: Practice on the equipment
Day 7: Practice on the equipment

CERTIFICATION
At the end of the training, a certificate with official value supported by the Ministry of Education of Panama (MEDUCA) through the Instituto Superior de Ingeniería and Grupo MAKRO S.A. (International Certification) will be awarded.
